Our corporate social responsibility is an integral part of our corporate purpose of connecting people and facilitating inclusion. Robust social foundations are a prerequisite for sustained commercial success and resilience. Our commitment extends not only to our own employees but also to the workers in our global value chain and our end-users.

ESRS S1 – Own workforce

198,079 employees – 36 % in Germany, 64 % outside Germany – drive Deutsche Telekom forward every day. Our values and standards are enshrined in our Code of Human Rights and form the basis for our actions. Health & safety measures empower and strengthen our employees. Women currently make up 29 % of top management; by 2027, we aim to have 30 % of management positions Group-wide filled by women.

We actively take on responsibility for our supply chain. Suppliers are required to sign our Supplier Code of Conduct, thereby meeting our sustainability requirements. This is verified by means of sampling and through audits conducted within the framework of the Joint Alliance for CSR initiative.

We connect people and encourage democratic coexistence in a digital world. Through our continuous network build-out and by promoting media literacy and digital values, we are creating an inclusive digital society. We protect children and young people, ensure privacy as a fundamental right, and actively combat discrimination and hate speech online.
