Claims relating to charges for the shared use of cable ducts. In the claims filed by Vodafone Deutschland GmbH (now Vodafone GmbH) and Vodafone West GmbH against Telekom Deutschland GmbH alleging excessive charges for the use of cable ducts, which were referred by the Federal Court of Justice back to the responsible Higher Regional Courts, the plaintiff Vodafone GmbH has since updated its demands for relief. Vodafone Deutschland now puts its claim at around EUR 1,057 million plus interest for the period from January 2012 to December 2025. It is currently not possible to reliably estimate the financial impact.
Claims for damages against Slovak Telekom following a European Commission decision to impose fines. Following the decision of the European Commission dated October 15, 2014, competitors filed damage actions against Slovak Telekom with the civil court in Bratislava. These claims seek compensation for alleged damages due to Slovak Telekom’s abuse of a dominant market position, as determined by the European Commission. Following on from negotiations with SWAN, concluded in October 2026, in which an overall settlement agreement was reached resolving multiple proceedings, SWAN will withdraw its claims. SWAN’s withdrawal of claims will leave one claim still pending with a total volume of EUR 107 million plus interest. It is currently not possible to estimate the financial impact of the remaining claim with sufficient certainty.
